Welcome to the third annual IMAGE Best of Beauty, in partnership with L?Ore?al Paris.

I don’t know what it is about beauty products that has – and keeps – me totally enthralled, but I know I will be intrigued by skincare, make-up, hair products and gadgets until the day I die. I’m an absolute, self-professed beauty junkie.

Beauty products have the power to change the way we feel about ourselves, and thus our ability to face the day (or night) full-on, and be the women we want to be. They’re also great for interpreting our mood, personality and our own individual style.

Every year, so many new launches come across my desk – the good, the not so good, and in a few select cases, the absolutely amazing! It’s this latter category that we buy, add to our regimes, and become intensely loyal to.

So, every year at IMAGE, we compile our very favourites – the things we really cannot live without. Here’s my list of over 120 beauty musts (although, I could have gone on for five times that). These are the products that I’m devoted to, or recommend to friends, family and readers. If they have one thing in common, I’d say it’s that each product is so good, and trustworthy, it out-performs its purpose.

I’m sure you’ll find many old reliables represented, but hopefully you’ll find a few new heroes to try, and love the results of.
