Foundations that earn a “Holy Grail” status are few and far between, but Est?e Lauder’s Double Wear is one that is truly befitting of such a term. It offers a fuller coverage without looking “caked,” has shades to perfectly match every skin tone – including those of us paler than pale – and come rain, wind or joyous Irish humidity, shiny faces are a thing of the past thanks to its 15-hour staying power. It’s no surprise that it’s become a beauty staple for millions of women worldwide; they even released a version with lighter coverage for those that found the original consistency?a tad heavy.
But the best is about to arrive.
Est?e Lauder has just announced?that they’ll be launching a new variation of the much-loved base this July – ?Est?e Lauder Double Wear Nude Water Fresh Makeup SPF 30.??It’s been given a pretty major upgrade, the most obvious difference being that this one is water-based with a lighter coverage overall – a texture that’s a dream for the skin, particularly’during the summer months.
Its gel formula allows for it to be built up to a fuller finish – without it actually looking heavy. And those who complained of the original counterpart drying out their skin will be happy to hear that the new foundation also contains hyaluronic acid – to hydrate the complexion throughout the day and keep skin?looking fresh – while still being oil-free.
Who else is excited?! The foundation will be available in 33 shades from this July at €38.
Form an orderly queue.
