Beauty Best Of: All the February best buys on one list

February has delivered some true beauty gems, from an array of skincare launches to some budget winners and a bit of luxury thrown in too. Here are some I’ve narrowed down as my must-buys…

These are five of my ‘I will rebuy’ products from the month of February – I’ve actually already gone back in for my second buy of the Inkey List cleanser… Twice a day cleansing will certainly get you through bottles of the stuff.

No7 The Full 360 Ultra Mascara

€20 (but currently on sale at €16) from boots.ie

I’ll admit, I wasn’t really in the market for a new mascara – I thought I was set up with the two I had on rotation. But when I gave this ago, I was happy to include it in my every day kit – it really does deliver the full 360. Which, as I see it, is length, volume and curl.february

The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm

€11.99 from eu.feelunique.com

I’m already a big fan of The Inkey List’s minimalist approach to both skincare and packaging, so this balm cleanser was straight on the shopping list. It dissolves congestion and make-up while helping to rebuild the skin’s barrier and soothe irritation.

Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil Infused Gloss

€23.50 from brownthomas.com

This is my favourite lip launch in ages. The formula is glossy but doesn’t feel sticky, and it doesn’t leave your lips dry or parched when it wears off (which takes an age, to be fair). I love the shades New Romantic and Hot Streak – the former for day, the latter for night.

Pestle & Mortar NMF Lactic Acid Toner

€32 from pestleandmortar.com

Infused with AHAs, PHAs, Indian gooseberry extract and black tea, this 5.34% acid toner can be used AM or PM. I’ve been sweeping it across my face with a cotton pad for the last week, and I’ve really noticed a brighter, smoother complexion.february

Clarins Milky Boost Healthy Glow Milk

€34 from clarins.ie

At first, I wasn’t clear what I was working with here. Is it a foundation? Is it a milk? It turns out, it’s an innovatively formulated foundation that uses micro-encapsulation technology. The micro pearls burst, making them change colour and adapt to your skin upon contact. They promised luminosity and radiance, and that’s what I got. Not full coverage for night, but beautiful as a day time option.
