Trying to find the perfect bridesmaid dress for your girls? Here are some ideas to get you started, all made right here in Ireland.

Finding the best bridesmaids’ dresses for your bridal party can be a tricky business. There are many factors to consider – you want to incorporate your wedding colours but also choose dresses that will flatter everyone.

Then, there’s the material, cut, length, straps, etc. to choose from, and so many massive online shops offer just about every design you can think of when it comes to choosing a dress that suits your wedding style.

And that’s just for a traditional bridesmaid dress search. What if you want to opt for a range of colours or styles? What if you want your bridesmaids, like yourself, to break the cookie-cutter mould of uniform dress?

If you find yourself overwhelmed by the vast sea of options available, take a deep breath and return to the core aesthetic of your big day. Pin some favourite ideas on your Pinterest Page or Flipboard. Talk to your partner or your maid of honour and narrow down what exactly you’re looking for.

For example, if your wedding is next summer, you’ll most likely want light, breathable fabric like chiffon or chartreuse, or if it’s in winter you may want floor-length gowns in velvet or crepe.

To help narrow down your ideas, we’ve compiled a list of very different bridesmaid dresses from homegrown Irish designers, from bold colours and figure-hugging silhouettes to dainty florals and ballgown shapes. Hopefully, it’ll help get your creative juices flowing. Happy shopping!
