WIN a romantic dinner for two in Dublin

Enter for your chance to WIN a three-course dinner and a bottle of champagne for two in Dublin city centre.

Just because Christmas is over doesn’t mean the magic of the holiday season has to end just yet. We are giving away a romantic date night in Dublin for two lucky lovebirds, whether you redeem it on New Year’s Eve, a special anniversary or an impromptu rendezvous.

This includes a three-course dinner in the newly reopened 1900 restaurant – a peaceful pocket of old-world charm amidst the modern buzz of nightclubs and bars on Harcourt Street. With chesterfield booths, a grand piano and delicious food, it’s a must-try if you haven’t had the chance yet.

The chefs cook only using the finest fresh locally sourced ingredients from quality-assured Irish farms like their signature steak, made from 100 per cent Irish Hereford beef and matured for a minimum of 28 days to ensure maximum flavour and tenderness and chosen by their master butcher Harry Buckley.

Other tasty dishes include prawn tortellini with Dublin Bay prawns and homemade pasta in a creamy celeriac butter sauce, Kilmore Quays seared scallops with Jerusalem artichokes, ceps mushrooms and beurre blanc, and short grain risotto with butternut velouté, mushroom chanterelle, celeriac chips and parmesan cheese.

And, every Friday and Saturday night, you can continue your date in the adjoining live piano bar The Black Door from 11pm til late. In fact, the winner will receive a complimentary bottle of champagne here on arrival, making it the perfect evening to celebrate New Year’s Eve in a special way.

Serving up curated cocktails crafted by in-house mixologists, you won’t be disappointed with your late-night tipple. The Georgian-style bar is the perfect place to end your date night, with live music, guest DJs and delectable drinks.
