TK Maxx’s autumn interiors selection is exactly how I want my house to look

TK Maxx’s autumn interiors selection is exactly how I want my house to look

You can never have enough animal print

I will readily admit that when it comes to interior design, I am a novice. I love stylish and beautiful things, but my penchant for cultivating that normally stops at my wardrobe. I spend my time on Instagram excitedly saving posts to my Interiors tab, but when it comes to executing it, I can never seem to get the balance quite right. If you need an outfit created and styled, I’m your girl — but when I need to redecorate a room, I’m stuck.

I depend a lot on interiors experts and stores for my inspiration, and when I find something that speaks to me, I really focus in on it. And this season, my inspiration is coming exclusively from TK Maxx’s A/W lookbook.

Plush carpets. Animal print. Gold furnishings. Velvet loveseats and pouffes. Lots and lots and lots of fringing. Yes, it may sound like Liberace’s gaff, but it’s also my dream house. Just like in my wardrobe, I’m all for a good dose of maximalism — I think it does the soul good to have some fun in your surroundings, and injecting some colour, especially during the dark and dreary winter, never hurt anybody.

I adore TK Maxx’s approach to this season, and the thought of bargain hunting in store is even better. Everyone knows you need to allocate a good hour or so to inspect TK Maxx’s selection, but it is always worth it, and the vindication of finding something unique is the best feeling.

Here are some of the pieces I’ve got my eye on.
