This coastal Donegal holiday-home is on the market for €295,000

Part of a smart, well-maintained development with communal grounds and ample parking, 1 Faugher Court would make a great holiday home for families and beach-lovers alike.

A handsome stone wall surrounds the front garden, while a gravel driveway leads up to the house. The inside of the property is bright and spacious. White paint, wooden ceilings and light coloured tiles enhance the natural light flooding in through the many windows dotted around the house.

The open plan kitchen/dining room/living area allows for a sense of community to permeate the home, which complements the laidback holiday vibe. Marble-topped counters line the walls in the kitchen, doubling as both storage and a breakfast island. Other features include a new oven, hob, microwave and other such appliances.

Meanwhile, a small wood-burning range can be found over in the living area – perfect for cosy movie nights in front of the TV. A utility room sits just off the kitchen, where there is a washing machine, dryer and additional sink.

Upstairs, there is an additional seating area with couches and gorgeous views across Sessiagh Lake. All three of the bedrooms can also be found on this level – each with built-in wardrobes, two of them en-suite.

Nestled up in the northwest Donegal village of Portnablagh, the property is within distance of all the locality’s best sights. Dunfanaghy village is also close by where visitors will find many different attractions including several beaches, a beautiful harbour and an array of vibrant cafes, shops bars and eateries.

This beautiful seaside village enjoys a busy summer season every year which attracts both international and domestic tourists to its golf course, sandy coastline and scenic hotspots which range from Tramore Beach to Hornhead, and Killahoey Beach.
