Søstrene Grene’s new collection will turn your home into a calming retreat

Form an orderly queue…

In these chaotic and uncertain times, it’s only natural that we’re drawn to calming, nature-inspired interiors.

The ‘biophilia’ trend of soothing shades and natural textures is perhaps the biggest design trend of 2020 — and now you can get the look in your own home without breaking the bank.

Søstrene Grene’s new collection — in stores from August 27th — includes reasonably-priced fine wicker baskets, rustic ceramics and earthy textiles that soothe the senses and turn a living space into a calming retreat.

Here are our top picks.

Lampshade, €21.90; velour chair, €59.90; rack with shelf, €10.66
Stoneware flowerpot, €4.18; side table, €39.90; mirror, €42.40
Baskets from €6.86 to 13.24; flower table, €19.88; flower pot, €9.66
Stoneware jug, 3.76; bowls from 9.54; stoneware teapot 12.36
Plates from €3.14; baskets from €26.40; table lamp €TBC
Baking utensils from €2.32; jars from €6.84; utensil holder/vase €5.56

The collection will be available in Georges Street, Dublin 2, Dun Laoghaire, Blanchardstown, Cork, Limerick, Belfast, Newry and Bangor from August 27th.
