Søstrene Grene’s autumn collection is here, and we’re already making a wishlist

Søstrene Grene’s autumn collection is here, and we’re already making a wishlist

If everyone gets to the lantern-style light shades before me, I’ll be in mourning for at least a week…

The Interiors team here at IMAGE have long documented their love for Danish brand Søstrene Grene. Not only do its pieces strike that perfect balance between relaxed and timeless, while still feeling current, they’re also very affordable.

The good news is that their autumn collection will be in stores from September 16, and it has loads of gorgeous pieces that we’re already adding to our mental wishlist. The bad? Well, if there’s something you have your eye on, it’s best to nab it quick, as the most popular pieces don’t tend to hang around for long.

If you see a woman in the George’s Street store carrying a lantern lamp shade, some orange tumblers and several twisted candles, (and let’s be honest, probably ten other things I didn’t come in for), it’s probably me — do say hi.

Here are some of our picks from the new collection.

Kitchen

Søstrene Grene's autumn collection
Acacia wood cutting boards €10.48, bowls €4.98, bottle €1.40, serving tray €6.86

I think the kitchen section is probably my favourite in Søstrene Grene. While I love all the products, its kitchen accessories to me feel like the ones that you really can’t find anywhere else for the same price.

Sure, you can get cheap tumblers in plenty of places, but they’re not going to be gorgeous coloured glass with a wonderfully irregular finish. Nor is it easy to find inexpensive tea towels and napkins in earthy, understated shades.

Søstrene Grene's autumn collection
Tumbler €4.20, dinner plate €8.40, jug €6.84, placemat €2.64

Tea towel €2.77

Dinner plate €8.40, placemat €2.64, tumbler €4.20, napkin €1.72, napkin ring €1.24, cutlery €1.84, candle €1.48, candle holder €8.44
Søstrene Grene's autumn collection
Lamp shade €18.80, posters from €3.48, plant pot €8.83, all else as before

Living room

Søstrene Grene's autumn collection
Tray table €48.90, vase €5.30, table lamp €24.90

The living room collection has loads of great accessories and updates to freshen up your space: pretty vases, cosy throws, and lamp shades that look a lot more expensive than they are.

There’s even a few pieces of furniture if you’re looking for something larger — I particularly like the bamboo tray table.

Plant pots from €7.43
Posters from €3.48, baskets from €12.38, wool blanket €34.40, runner €27.90, wall deco €9.14
