Ikea has announced a collection that celebrates the power of colour

Partnering with Dutch design duo Raw Color, the new, limited edition collection features everyday items that create a sense of joy in people’s homes.

Whether you’re a seasoned lover of colour or want to try out being more adventurous, Ikea has the perfect collection for you.

Its newest range, Tesammans was designed with Dutch design studio Raw Color. The 19-piece collection highlights how colour can transform everyday objects, while inspiring more people to discover its positive emotional effects.

“We have taken an experimental approach to exploring how colours can transform everyday objects,” Daniera ter Brach of Raw Color says, “trying different combinations of shades and materials, playing with shapes that catch light in certain ways and by mixing bright, saturated tones with more muted ones.”

Each piece focuses on an unexpected, yet harmonious palette, marked by surprising colour combinations and playful patterns. Here are our favourites from the collection, which launches in April.

Cushion covers, from €5.50; Rug, €200; Side Table, €50; Hanging Decoration, €19
