Breathe some new life into your bathroom with these fresh accessories that won’t break the bank

Whether it’s a new towel, a caddy to organise your skincare, or something to spruce up your sink, little details can make your bathroom feel more like a retreat.

As well as everyone’s morning routine, you can add competition for the best shower slot, and maybe even the odd video call (it’s the only room in most homes where the door actually locks, after all). So if things are looking a little chaotic, it’s no surprise.

You can freshen things up a little with some small changes, here are some ideas to make things feel a little more relaxing.

Zara Home

Anyone with anything resembling a skincare routine knows how quickly the products accumulate on your bathroom shelf, so something to organise them will help your space feel a lot less cluttered.

You can go for something sleek and functional, or a box to hide the chaos. Alternatively, a pretty vintage-inspired tray will make a real feature of your favourite products.

Sink

From a home for the all important soap (whether in bar or liquid form), to a container for toothbrushes, you can elevate your sink area with some carefully chosen accessories. Go for something bright to add a cheerful pop of colour, or a sleek style to add a luxe touch.

Textiles

Maybe your bath mat has seen better days, or you want to treat yourself to a new towel that no one else is allowed to use. Textiles are important for adding softness to a bathroom, so look for textured finishes and thick materials for the most indulgent mood.

Baskets and rails

Whether it’s a place for dirty clothes or a place to keep everyone’s towels, both baskets and rails are both very handy in a busy bathroom.
