Natural light may be in short supply at the moment, but maximise every glimmer of it with these chic metallic pieces.

When we’re choosing pieces for our home, we often think a lot about colours, but it’s also a good idea to think about light. Living in a country where, for a good chunk of the year natural light is fleeting, thinking about how to maximise it where we can will make a difference on those darker days.

Of course, there are larger ways to influence this, changing windows, adding skylights, and reorganising layouts, but even small, simple choices like introducing metallic surfaces that will catch light and reflect it can give you a little burst of light where you weren’t expecting it. Here are 23 interiors finds perfect for catching glints of light.
