Spice up your life with this weekend’s event guide

There’s only one place to be this weekend in Dublin, but if lack of tickets are stopping you from gatecrashing Croke Park, there are lots of other ways to occupy your time. From beauty bits to art to the classic yoga-and-brunch way to spend a Sunday, it’s looking like a good one. Happy weekend from IMAGE!

On Sunday: Stretch it out at Vit Hit and Movement Yoga or Pilates + Brunch

Need a way to detox your body and mind before the Monday slog? Combat the Sunday scaries with a morning fitness session and brunch on Charlotte Quay with Vit Hit drinks. Choose from either yoga at 10 am with Ciara T or Pilates at 11 am with Susie Murray and feel the stresses of the week float away, before a gorgeous brunch afterwards. The pop-up is running for this weekend only, so get your tickets now.

All weekend: Head to beauty wonderland at the IMAGE Beauty Festival

It’s all we’ve been able to talk about in IMAGE HQ for months and finally, the biggest weekend in beauty has arrived — the IMAGE Beauty Festival is a go this weekend in the Point Square. With stations to get your hair done, make-up, skin evaluated, a chill-out zone, and more talks, discussions and masterclasses than you can shake a stick at, the excitement is certainly building for a brilliant weekend. Tickets are still available but hurry — we’re almost sold out!

On Friday: Get what you want, what you really, really want at Spice World at the Stella Theatre

If you’ve missed out on a ticket to the biggest event of the summer, never fear — the Spice Girls aren’t just making a comeback in Croker tonight. Head to the Stella Theatre at midnight to see one of the finest cinematic achievements of the 20th century (Spice World, obviously) screened exclusively for Girl Power fans. The perfect way to get your Spice fix, or to finish the night in style.

All weekend: Get arty at Synthesis at Jam Park

If you haven’t already been to the adult play mecca that is Jam Park in Swords, then this weekend will be a great first taste. Showcasing some of the best artists in the city, the Synthesis exhibition merges fine art and graffiti styles to creatively push the boundaries of Dublin’s art scene. Featuring work from four artists (Atmos, Decoy, Kambo and Weaks), the exhibition is running for six weeks.
