How ‘Real’ Should You Be In Job Interviews?

How ‘Real’ Should You Be In Job Interviews?

We’re big cheerleaders for Philippa Perry’s agony aunt column in Red magazine, so we’re pretty delighted to see her moonlighting over on the Guardian website as their video agony aunt. Philippa, pictured above with husband Grayson, is a fountain of sensibility and in this short video talks to a millennial who is feeling a bit of an imposter in the working world. She feels she can’t be honest in job interviews because of her carefree past and that she doesn’t have the ability to bring anything special to a working environment. Philippa sets her straight.

If you have found yourself at a crossroads in life recently and dipping your professional feet into interviewing waters, these might be the wisest words you’ll hear this week.
