George Ezra announces biggest Irish shows to date

Pop singer George Ezra, who had the undisputed song of the summer this year with Shotgun, has announced his biggest Irish shows to date.

He'll be playing three outdoor gigs in Cork, Dublin and Belfast next summer, with tickets going on sale next week.

The three shows are:

  • The Irish Independent Park, Cork on the 20th of June
  • Malahide Castle, Dublin on the 21st of June
  • Ormeau Park, Belfast on the 22nd of June

George Ezra's second album Staying at Tamara's, which is the UK's biggest selling album released this year, has dominated the charts this summer. Its single Shotgun spent 9 full weeks at the top of the Official Irish singles chart, with the album giving us other hits including Paradise, Hold My Girl, Pretty Shining People and Don't Matter Now.

The shows were announced on the eve of Ezra's 2018 European arena tour, which is taking him around Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK, ending in Manchester in March.

Tickets for the tour will be €49.90 including booking fees, available from on Wednesday the 10th of October at 9am
