Lidl Unveil S/S15 Collection

Lidl’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection is here at last! Though you might once have considered this store as your one stop shop for all things veg related, their sartorial efforts are nothing to be sniffed at. In fact, we’re pretty damn impressed.

Catering to both men and women,?Ireland’s number one discount retailer, have just this week unveiled its hotly anticipated collection. As for the best part? You’re getting of the moment high street looks at a fraction of the cost.

From stunning nautical stripes and dreamy summer dresses, to boho-chic harem pants and quality beachwear, the collection has something to suit every taste and budget. Savvy style hunters can expect to kit themselves out from head to toe, including top, bottoms, coat and shoes for under €50. Stand-out pieces include cult classics like trench coats in colour choices of beige, blue and red (?24.99, in store Feb), chic ankle boots (?19.99, in store March), a snakeskin cami (?6.99, in store May) and bang-on-trend boyfriend jeans (?13.99, in store March).

The first range from the collection will hit stores on Thursday, 26th February. Inspired by Venice, the Italian city of water, a nautical theme runs throughout, with red and blue striped tops (?9.99), jeans (?10.99) and sleek, versatile jersey dresses in black, blue and red (?9.99). Pair with pointy flats (?8.99) for relaxed, day-time chic or with an eye-catching’statement necklace (a snip at only €5.99!) and heels for the perfect night-time ensemble.

Another firm favourite are the boyfriend jeans (?13.99), which will hit stores in March and can be worn with a plain white tee and heels for understated glam. For a backyard BBQ or summer garden party, channel Alexa Chung with a denim dress (?11.99) and pumps (?5.99) for simple, paired back elegance.

Whether you’re planning a staycation or dreaming of blue skies and faraway shores, prep your summer wardrobe guilt-free with Lidl’s selection of suitcase-worthy outfits at purse-friendly prices. Red, navy and striped swimsuits are a steal at €7.99. Pair with stunning jewel blue kaftan (?8.99), flip-flops (?2.99) and oversized sunnies (?2.99) for pool-side chic. Tribal print harem pants (?6.99) can be worn with a loose, copper cami (?6.99) and tan sandals (?9.99) for chilled out boho vibes.

Sweeten up your summer wardrobe with a cute shift dress (?10.99) available in peach, cream or navy. Worn with wedges (?12.99) and a clutch, it’s the perfect summer ensemble for cocktails with the girls. For more grown up glam, try the pleated gold skirt (?9.99) paired with a delicate white tank (?4.99).
