Summer Style Solutions: How To Wear White

Summer Style Solutions: How To Wear White

White. It’s a palette-cleansing, back-to-basics aesthetic that signifies perfectly the arrival of the new season.

Opt for a streamlined or sporty silhouette, as seen at Michael Kors and DKNY, for work, while lace detailing and feminine shapes work beautifully for holiday wear. Kate Bosworth (above) gives a traditional white sun dress a modern twist with cold-shoulder’detailing.

Details such as belts, buttons,?asymmetric cuts and clever draping?add interest to head-to-toe white and?prevent it from looking bland and?indistinct. Layering tones of?cream and vanilla will also help to add definition to your outfit, as will a mix of textures. Try velvety silks with earthy linens.
