The Business of Fun

Described by students as the biggest social event of the year, the Business and Enterprise Ball took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Northwood, which proved the perfect contemporary venue for the black-and-white themed evening. Guests were greeted with champagne, fruit and chocolate fountains before they adjourned to the dining room for a four-course dinner. Singer-songwriter Jess Smyth, Cork cover band J90, and a DJ set from Fourplay DJs all provided the students with inspiring entertainment to keep them on the dancefloor. Organisers of the event, the Enterprise Society at DCU, ensured this year’s ball had that wow-factor, with clowns, topless waiters, photo booths and customised goodie bags all on offer. A spectacular finish to the students’ hard work.
