Watch: Man Reunited With Dog After 8 Years

As if you haven’t already shed enough tears of joy and emotion today, we have something that’s going to make your heart swell just a little bit more.

Joshua Edwards lost his Rottweiler, Duke, eight years ago when he was just a tiny puppy and had given up on ever finding him. But because life can sometimes be the most wonderful thing ever, last week, he received a call from a pet chip company saying they had a dog named Duke registered to him. It was indeed his lost puppy.

They met and were reunited. Josh cried tears of joy. Then Duke the dog cried. Then we sobbed. And now we have to stop looking at the clip because it’s just too much.

Watch it below for a little touch of extra happiness, because today of all days, it’s well deserved.
