This is where you should spend your money this Black Friday

This is where you should spend your money this Black Friday

With all the hustle and bustle of Black Friday, it’s easy to get wrapped up in it all and forget quality in favour of quantity. If you’ve been scrolling on Instagram and clicking through Instastories, you’ve more than likely seen an influx of 50% off everything flashing before your eyes.

This year, for Black Friday we are moving towards a more considered approach to our purchasing habits. We’re looking for high-quality items that will last, and gifts that will be treasured. The list we have compiled for this year’s mad rush, below, supports local and independent stores both online offline. Think long-term investment instead of a short-term steal.

And even better, all your shopping can still be done from the comfort of your own home with a cup of tea in hand.

Interiors deals:

Amara

Amara is a great place for bargains on quality pieces from brands such as Ralph Lauren and Orla Kiely. There is up to 50% off their own brand range including these beautiful Chirk Double Silk Duvet Cover which is reduced from €244 to €122. The deals are currently online at www.amara.com and run until Sunday.

Hen’s Teeth

For all the buzz that Black Friday brings it can harm independent businesses. Hen’s Teeth, an independent art and lifestyle store on Fade Street, Dublin have come up with a deal that highlights this. heir ‘For a Better City’ discount will run from 23 November to Christmas Eve. Instead of a set deal or discount code, they are simply asking their customers to show that they have made a purchase of €25 or more in a neighbouring independent store to avail of a 10% discount at Hen’s Teeth. Find this beautiful ‘Stay Glad’ print by One Strong Arm and more at www.hensteethstore.com

The Citizenry

 Black Friday interiors deals

The Citizenry will be donating profits on all purchases to Educate Girls, an NGO advancing education in Rajasthan, India, which means your purchase is also giving back this Black Friday. Find this La Nieve and more at the-citizenry.com
