A marvellously moreish option, this dainty but dangerous gold-dusted tart by one of Ireland’s most charming chefs is a handy one to cut up and share – or devour all on your lonesome with a glass of milk while watching Love, Actually. No judgement here.
2. Drunken Pear Ginger Bread. Brilliantly boozy, this lovely recipe?by Broma Bakery involves poaching pears in white wine, sugar and spices and submerging them in a gorgeously rich ginger bread batter. Yes, please.
3. Homemade Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge Pop-Tarts. What’s not to love about the idea of homemade pop-tarts? These fudgey wonders from Tieghan Gerard at Half Baked Harvest are sweet, nostalgia-inducing and chocolatey – perfect for Christmas.
