Netflix is adding ‘1 more episode’ of Tiger King next week, according to Jeff Lowe

Netflix is adding ‘1 more episode’ of Tiger King next week, according to Jeff Lowe

One of the stars of Netflix’s Tiger King has said a new bonus episode will drop next week

Hey, all you cool cats and kittens. If seven episodes of Tiger King wasn’t enough for you, there may be a new bonus episode to enjoy next week.

Jeff Lowe, the controversial big cat owner who took over Joe Exotic’s zoo in Oklahoma, has announced another instalment of the series is in the works.

In a video shared via social media with podcasters Kourtney and Justin Turner, Jeff said the crew from Netflix would be filming “one more episode” at the zoo the following day, to be aired on Netflix “next week”.

However, fans are taking Lowe’s announcement with a pinch of salt for a number of reasons. Firstly, the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic means filming new episodes isn’t particularly safe. Hundreds of shows across the world have had to be postponed for the health and safety of cast and crew, and Tiger King should be no different.

Not only that, but it takes time to produce a high-quality series and fans aren’t convinced one week is long enough to create a new episode for Netflix.

Netflix has not yet commented on Lowe’s update, so we shall have to wait and see what happens.
