Glucksman Gallery director Fiona Kearney and senior curator Chris Clarke recently welcomed over 150 guest to the opening of Modern Families, a new exhibition of Irish and international work that focuses on how the idea of the family is found across numerous disciplines. Many of the contributing artists were in attendance, along with various generations of Corkonian culture vultures. All enjoyed glasses of wine while looking at the new works, with a large contingent adjourning to the gallery’s French bistro to continue the evening in a most convivial way.
