Get BBQ season ready with the latest Aldi outdoor living collection

Get BBQ season ready with the latest Aldi outdoor living collection

Here’s what to love (and what’s worth pegging it to your local Aldi for) from the brand’s latest outdoor living drop.

We’re trying really hard not to run away with ourselves. Just because we had a nice summer last year doesn’t mean we will this year (plus, if we do, then there’s the global warming guilt), and there’s still a wee nip in the air.

However, like the dog when she hears a word that might resemble “walk”, we’re starting to get excited. Outdoor furniture has not had to be dragged indoors for some time, forgotten coffee cups are not full with rainwater and sheets are drying in record time (and yes, we are in fact becoming our mothers).

With that in mind, we’re eyeing up the latest Aldi outdoor living collection, due to hit shops nationwide this Thursday, May 23. While there’s plenty of useful furniture options too, it’s the accessories that really caught our eye. Check out our favourites below.

These boxed seat pads are an easy and comfortable way to brighten your outdoor area. Made of 100% cotton, pop them on your seats or simply laze about in the grass. Otherwise, leave them in the car for any impromptu picnics. Boxed seat pads, €14.99

No need to carry the watermelon when you can serve it. This fun melamine set of tableware comes in a collection of plates, bowls and cups or serveware collection, including a chip n’ dip platter that’s calling out for some fresh salsa and guacamole. If you’re not a Dirty Dancing fan, there’s also a vibrant palm leaf option (as seen above) or a sweet navy and lemon pattern. Melamine dining set of six bowls, plates, side plates and cups, €5.99. Melamine serveware, €5.99 each

This is ideal for pre-made cocktails at a summer party or fill with water for a camping trip so you’re not buying any unnecessary one-use plastic bottles. Drink dispenser, €5.99

These washable cotton cushions are perfect for a lazy summer’s day. Or, if you haven’t got any outdoor space, why not bring some nature inside with the fun summery prints? Cushions, €15.99 for two

The entire Aldi collection of furniture and outdoor accessories will hit Irish shops this Thursday, May 23, so get in early before they’re all snapped up.
