On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me? a teacup of Hendrick’s gin? Sounds infinitely better than an unwieldy potted pear tree with the accompanying whistling partridge bird, doesn’t it? Together those two things make for an awkward handbag.
Last night saw the launch of Hendrick’s Gin 12 Nights of Christmas in association with South William Street’s Meet and Meat. This pop-up takeover will see the restaurant’s cosy parlour experiment every evening – There will be performances from some of Ireland’s most curious music acts, readings from actors as well as some old fashioned seanachai sessions. Think old world craic with new world instagrammable visuals.
Spotted at the launch was Fiona Mullen of Thinkhouse PR, our won Jo Linehan, Mary-Kate Murray of TV3 and Tropical Popical’s Andrea Horan.
You have until Christmas Eve to partake in this one-off wonder, meet you at the bar?
