Villa in Indonesia

With winter setting in, we’ve got our sights set on sunnier horizons (namely this boutique villa in Indonesia)

Located in Denpasar, Indonesia – less than 30 minutes from the airport – this boutique villa is a tropical escape.

The property is listed on Airbnb Plus, which means it’s of exceptionally high quality and its host is known for great reviews and attention to detail. “You will feel right at home in this cosy villa, where everything is considered for your comfort,” said the host, Ni Putu.

With three double bedrooms and three bathrooms, it comfortably sleeps six people. “Treat the senses in this modern resort-style Balinese architecture home,” reads the villa’s Airbnb description.

“Discover a tropical escape featuring a mid-century aesthetic, with flowing indoor-to-outdoor areas, a private garden veranda around the pool, and open-air living spaces.”

Amenities include free parking on the premises, a private swimming pool, air conditioning and a full kitchen.

There is also free wifi, a TV, bathroom essentials (including towels, shampoo, soap and toilet roll), as well as all bedroom comforts (including bed sheets, pillows and hangers).

Other amenities include a coffee maker, hairdryer, iron, carbon monoxide detector and smoke detector.

The Denpasar villa is located near a number of local shops, as well as local restaurants – which means you won’t have to travel far for food or entertainment. It’s also within walking distance to bustling Oberoi Street in Seminyak, which is home to markets, bars and eateries.

One reviewer said, “What a perfect place to stay with your family! I recently stayed at Ni Putu’s villa and was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the place is. It looks exactly like the pictures.

“Our family of five stayed comfortably in the three rooms provided, which were very clean. Ni Putu was very warm and pleasant to communicate with,” they added.

Another reviewer said it was “the cutest villa,” adding that the cleaners are friendly and it’s in a very convenient location.

At €145 per night (between six people), this property seems too good to miss. It’s booked out until January at the earliest, which leaves just enough time to save up for flights.
