The countdown is on! Taste of Dublin 2017 takes place in the beautiful surroundings of the Iveagh Gardens from Thursday 15th?? Sunday 18th?June with a stellar line-up of world renowned International and Irish chefs, including Jean Christophe Novelli, Anna Haugh, Darina Allen, Gill Meller and Neven Maguire taking to the various stages and participating in new exciting features over the four days; there will also be producers, food and drinks experts and new experiences – all designed to educate, entertain, surprise and delight.

In case you’re wondering where to start, here’s our pick of the top five things to see and do at Taste over the coming days:

1. Discover The Restaurant Line-up

Experience Flavour of the World at some of Ireland’s top restaurants.?Taste of Dublin will see a vast array of restaurants, producers, bars and exhibitors providing the best sights, smells, sounds, tastes and culinary experiences on offer in Ireland. Among the restaurants participating this year are Ely, Suesey Street, Deane’s EIPIC, Greene’s Restaurant, KLAW, Pickle, San Lorenzos, Jaipur, Saba, China Sichuan, the Port House, the Wild Goose Grill and more. 2. Ponder Some Food For Thought

This is similar to Ted Talks, only this time, it’s all about food! ?There’ll be sessions on food & drink with key influencers, foodies and chefs so if you are passionate about all things food, from its cultural and economic importance, and the business of food, through to fermentation and plating up the perfect dish, the range of topics covered at this exciting feature will excite even the biggest food geeks. – Dee Laffan, food writer and journalist, will host a series of carefully curated talks and interviews with some of Ireland’s tops chefs, producers, food writers, drinks enthusiasts and many more. 3. ‘Make Life Delicious’ with Elecrolux’s?Interactive Cooking Experience

Make Life Delicious with Electrolux offers visitors the unique opportunity to pick up hints, tips and techniques from some of the world’s leading chefs in a series of interactive cooking demonstrations. These hands-on cooking sessions, run by Lynda Booth’s Dublin Cookery School will allow visitors to cook alongside star chefs to create mouthwatering and inspirational dishes, while also learning the latest cooking methods and skills using steam and induction technology. Combining all things food and fashion Connacht Gold will host an afternoon of style and savour, delighting the taste buds of festival goers with delicious buttery treats while scouting the crowd for the most stylish Taste of Dublin attendees.

On Friday 16th from 12-3pm a team of judges, including head judge Pippa O’Connor,?Sybil Mulcahy, Editor of Evoke.ie and Laura Bermingham, beauty editor at Evoke.ie, will choose the most stylish lady or gentleman at the event, with the selected finalists presented with their prizes between 3- 4 pm.
