There’s a heatwave coming and these sale buys are all we want to wear

With blue skies and 28-degree temperatures on the cards, our wardrobes were looking decidedly bare for hot weather outfits, until we discovered these perfect sale buys.

If Met Éireann is to be believed, today is the start of a beautiful weekend, as temperatures look set to top 28 degrees in some parts of the country. As residents of a country that usually looks forward to nothing more than slightly warmer rain in the summer, our wardrobes are severely underdeveloped for a heatwave. But lucky for us, sale season is here, and there are plenty of easy options to help you look summer-ready while keeping cool.

From swimwear (if you dare to brave the 40 Foot) to sunglasses, here’s my edit of scorching sale buys to suit this weekend’s weather.
