When it comes to getting a glimpse of how the other half lives, you can almost always count on celebrity Instagram profiles to assuage any cravings you may have. For here is where an elite group of singers/actors/models gather to post (often) nauseatingly glamorous snaps of their ‘normal’ lives (the going-out-on-your-own-private-jet kind of normal), while the rest of us mortals look on in wonder and think, “If only I could do that!” We then sigh as we’re brought back to reality with a bang?by that deadline we’d almost forgotten was tomorrow. However?fleeting,?the concept of living a celebrity life for even 24 hours has no doubt crept into the daydreams of many, and thanks to social media, we can pick and choose our favourite would-be lives. We would argue that some celebrities live the dream better than others – at least according to their Instagram profiles – and we have chosen 10 that we would more than happily live for a single day. They are gorgeous, wacky, often dedicated to a good cause and if nothing else, provide light-hearted relief when we’ve had that week from hell. Oh to live the dream…
1. Taylor Swift
Who else could we start with? Swift has sky-rocketed to megastardom this year from her incredibly successful 1989 album and subsequent world tour, shiny new relationship with Calvin Harris (we may be sick with jealousy, but she truly deserves relationship happiness) and ultra-cool girl gang. She is one really?living the dream/actual reality. Oh, did we mention she almost single-handedly changed the music industry? Her Instagram is proof of this and more. It’s full of snapshots of a life that we’re fairly sure is perfect. From this we?know she is grateful, fiercely loyal to her friends, adores cats (THOSE CATS) and frequently puts her talent and success to make someone else’s life that bit happier. We’d imagine a day in Swift’s life would be pretty darn good.

2. Cara?Delevingne
The still-model-of-the-moment Cara Delevingne has many great things happening for her. After scaling the heights of the modelling world, she shed some light on its harsh realities and decided to call it quits to pursue her flourishing acting career (word has it that she’ll be a flame-haired superhero next). She has never taken herself too seriously when it comes to Instagram and has the social platform to thank for her humble beginnings as an Insta-model to bonafide A-lister. Her world is unfailingly glamorous, but it looks like a lot of fun too. If you were to chose a supermodel to trade with, Cara’s would be none too shabby.

3. Lena Dunham
Lena Dunham is one of our favourite people. She is inspiring, empowering and unfailingly real. She is all about embracing your imperfectness while staying true to who you are, and for a celebrity that’s as high profile as she is, you couldn’t ask for a better role model.?The Girls director/actress/writer and general’millennial poster girl takes an awful lot of flak for just trying to be positive, but always bounces back. When she’s not saying inspiring words about anxiety, she’s busy setting up her new lifestyle newsletter, set to resonate in the hearts of many. Her Insta-life is all about honesty, wise words and “OMG, that’s happened to you too?!” moments that we would love to experience through her eyes, if only for a day. When we need to keep it real, Lena is there for us.

The stunning actress/model is a fashion force to be reckoned with, and her Instagram is so dreamy that you’d think you’re looking at stills from a film. We’d kill for her drool-worthy?wardrobe, so-hot-it-is-unreal boyfriend and seemingly perfect baking skills. She is Hollywood glamour personified and 24 hours in her life means all of the below. We’re swooning already.?

To live the Insta-life of Amanda Seyfried is to live a life surrounded by amazing animals peppered with general snaps of flawless porcelain skin and touching gestures of kindness. The actress gives us an insight into moments away from the glaring lights of the paparazzi and of times that are happy and real. She is fond of the outdoors so?good walking shoes are a must, and again, her dog is quite possibly the most perfect pet ever. She also isn’t afraid to speak out against issues that all women worry about?like anxiety,?another plus when considering the swapping stakes.?

6. Amy Schumer
Amy Schumer, we love you. And so does all of Dublin. She is currently killing it as one-half of a famous girl gang with new best pal JLaw, starring in the amazing Trainwreck and just generally being awesome. Her Insta-life is a combination of the hilarious every day with the starry red carpet outings of a busy actress (who goes jet skiing with her equally famous actress friends). Who knows what we depths we could uncover by walking in her shoes for even a short while. We know life would be funny, inspiring and down-to-earth entertaining. We want to swap?now, please. – ?

You know we had to include at least one Kardashian on this list, right? The Kardashian/Jenner clan often seem so far removed from reality it is unreal, but who here could honestly say the would turn down a chance to be in their very own ‘A Day In The Life Of Kim Kardashian‘ spin-off? It would be quite something. From her adorable family moments, selfie parades and almost every other moment in between, Kim K has it made, as far as amazing Instgram lives go, anyway. Her life isn’t without its difficulties,?but it is truly the life of a rich and famous savvy socialite-turned-businesswoman. The first place we’d go is her designer wardrobe, FYI.

If you’re looking for #RelationshipGoals, look no further than Aaron Paul’s Instagram account. The Breaking Bad star’s profile is full of heart-wrenchingly adorable moments with his wife (see below for examples), and just general famous-actor fun and we think it would be brill to live his life/relationship ideals for a day. Her life might just be outside the realms of normal even for a celebrity, but if you’re looking for the superstar life, it’s right here. We’re talking designer gowns, oversized cakes, poised selfies and a dog yours truly would kill for. She’s truly unique and her Insta-life is surely the stuff of which dreams are made.

Queen B simply had to be included on this list. Her Instagram is a stark combination of Vogue (she probably really did wake up looking like that) meets flawless*** family portraits and tender moments. We already know about some of her beauty secrets and that she’s inclined to spend way too much on unsightly shoes but she is unbelievably talented, amazing and thus beloved regardless (she even had her own celebratory Bey-day yesterday, as she turned one year older). ?A day in the life of Beyonc? just isn’t one we would turn down.
