Taste of Dublin is one of the most anticipated social events on the summer calendar, and this year is no different. Taking place in Merrion Square Park, the festival is a four-day extravaganza showcasing the best food and drink Dublin’s fair city has to offer.

The SuperValu’s Specially Sourced Wine Tasting Sessions will feature some of the most exciting names in international winemaking, offering guests the opportunity to taste, learn and discover in a relaxed but immersive setting.
Running across both afternoon and evening sessions, the events are expected to be one of the festival’s most sought-after experiences, with limited seats available for each tasting.
From chilled Pinot Noir and bold Australian reds to elegant Portuguese Alvarinho and trend-led rosés, each session has been carefully curated to showcase wines with personality, provenance and a story worth telling.

At Pink Society, Kevin O’Callaghan hosts a celebration of premium rosé and sparkling wines, including Côtes de Provence Rosé and Crémant de Loire, with a relaxed, no-rules approach to tasting. While at The Sommelier Handshake, German winemaker Dominik Glas presents elegant Riesling and Pinot Noir from Pfalz, showcasing fresh, food-friendly wines with depth and a modern edge. Then, in Meet Our Ned, Chris Lysley of Marisco Vineyards explores Marlborough’s iconic The Ned Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, with stories from vineyards across New Zealand and beyond.
Next, move on to Petiscos Trail; Hilário Ribeiro highlights Portugal’s rising wine scene with AM Alvarinho and Fado Friendship Reserve, blending culture, value and vibrant modern flavours. And finally, BBQ Game Changer sees Matthew Nugan of Nugan Estate bring bold Australian BBQ pairings, including rich Shiraz made from dried grapes and a bright, refreshing Sauvignon Blanc.
