Want to be the first to see what all the hype’s about? We’re giving away two tickets to the cinematic event of the year: the Irish premiere of Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights.

The ultimate Valentine’s date or Galentine’s event, the arrival of Wuthering Heights in Irish cinemas has been highly anticipated, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect. One of the most epic love stories ever told, the tale of Cathy and Heathcliff’s forbidden passion is one for the ages, and now it’s getting a fresh spin from the one and only Emerald Fennell, director of Saltburn and Promising Young Woman.

Known for her provocative storytelling, the way in which Fennell elects to approach the world of Emily Brontë’s creation is a source of much speculation. How does one begin to successfully adapt this sacred cow of literature? With Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi in the leading roles, and Charli XCX devising an original soundtrack, excitement abounds.

Our very own Alison Oliver will also appear in the film, known for her roles in Saltburn and Conversations with Friends, and the whole aesthetic world is reason alone to want to experience it on the big screen. Interesting make-up choices and beautiful costume design draw the eye immediately, and the story of intoxicating love, lust and madness will keep you glued.
