Since it’s one of the most prestigious events in the international racing calendar, it’s only fitting that there was some incredible style on show at this year’s Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby.
An event where top class racing and impeccable fashion come together, Dubai Duty Free Derby’s Most Stylish Man and Woman competition returned after a lengthy three-year hiatus.
When was it?
Held in association with The K-Club, the Dubai Duty Free Derby is a three-day weekend festival that took place from 24-26 June.
Where was it?
The historic Curragh Racecourse, Co Kildare.
Why were we there?
While the event spanned the last weekend in June, it was Saturday’s festivities that had some of Ireland’s most stylish faces out in force in a bid to win the title of the most stylish lady and gent.
Who was there?
The fabulous fashion on display was judged by the shrewd eyes of Irish broadcaster, writer and impressionist Doireann Garrihy, and presenter and Olympian Greg O’Shea.
The well-dressed pair were joined by Breeda McLoughlin and Bairbre Power, and throughout the day they surveyed the style until two winners were finally announced.
Olive Foley claimed the title of Most Stylish Lady with her vibrant ensemble, while former Irish boxing champion Harry Cowap was crowned Most Stylish Man for his exquisite summer suit.
