A true celebration of Ireland’s unique, and hugely talented array of designers, the Brown Thomas CREATE pop-up has returned for its 12th year — and it’s nothing short of incredible.

An annual presentation that is set to run up until August, CREATE 2022 at Brown Thomas has brought together 27 of the country’s most prominent, promising, and exciting designers, proving that the Irish fashion scene is brighter than ever.

In celebration of CREATE 2022’s launch, guests gathered on the second floor of the department store, and there were plenty of familiar faces in attendance.

Tuesday, 5 July.

Where was it?

Level 2, Brown Thomas, Grafton Street, Dublin.

Why were we there?

Running from now until 15 August, CREATE 2022 at Brown Thomas features a diverse range of Irish designers whose collections range from accessories and jewellery, to ready-to-wear clothing and beautiful ceramics.

Spotlighting 27 of Ireland’s finest designers, both well-established and newly emerging names are in the lineup.

Who was there?

Among those whose creations are on display at the CREATE 2022 showcase, there are Caoimhe Murphy’s fun, feminine and timeless design, Rashhiiid’s statement-making faux-fur hats, and Barbara Bennett’s hand-painted loafers, among others.

At the launch of the event, Angela Scanlon, Doireann Begley Bowie, and Shelly Corkery were among those in attendance, alongside designers and fashionistas alike.
