The IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year Awards 2024 may be over for another year, but it’s a night we won’t be forgetting in a hurry.

The IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year Awards, in partnership with PwC, sponsored by Key Capital, DS Automobiles, Eversheds Sutherland, Glenveagh, Kuehne + Nagel, Paul Sheeran Jewellers, Pinergy and Ornua, and in association with Enterprise Ireland, Marks & Spencer, i-Stil38 and Movement took place on Friday 10 May with hundreds of the most empowering women in Ireland joining us to celebrate their achievements.

Back for its 16th year, this year’s event was momentous for many reasons. Honouring some of the country’s most influential leaders in one luxurious awards ceremony at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, it was a hugely special occasion for female changemakers and the energy in the room was electric. 

An evening dedicated to excellence, we heard inspiring stories from special guests before we announced the winners, along with the Lifetime Achievement award winner, and of course, the overall IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year.

We had an overwhelming response this year with hundreds of applications from women all across Ireland. Our panel of highly esteemed judges certainly had their work cut out for them but they managed to whittle things down to one inspiring shortlist of nominees from which they ultimately chose this year’s winners. 

This year’s Lifetime Achievement Award went to a woman of immense significance in Irish business, Anne Heraty, while the incredible Emma Maye, CEO of CORE Builders Providers was crowned the overall IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year. All extremely well-deserving businesswomen from a broad range of industries and backgrounds, you can check out the full list of esteemed prize-holders right here.

There were plenty of familiar faces at the event, including many of our Business Club along with friends, family and supporters. By far one of the most glamorous nights of the year, our wonderful attendees certainly set the standard and there were many standout looks on the red carpet as our guests networked and sipped on delicious cocktails.

A highlight on our annual calendar of events, it’s a truly special occasion for Irish women and we’re already counting down the days until next year!
