11th Apr 2023

This Friday, April 14 marks our 15th annual IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year Awards. Here are our favourite moments from last year's awards, from impressive styles to jaw-dropping entertainment.

Just days away, the countdown is on (and the anticipation is high!) for this year’s IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year Awards. In the build-up, we take a glimpse at the glitz and glamour of past awards.

Now in its 15th year, the award ceremony recognises the outstanding contribution Irish women make to business and modern life across 11 categories, from entrepreneurs and start-ups to management professionals and CEOs. This year, we’ve also introduced some exciting new categories like Family Businesswoman of the Year and Diversity and Inclusion Businesswoman of the Year.

In addition to the awards ceremony, these nights include a selection of incredible live music performances, delicious food, a stunning gift bag, talented hosts and, of course, our attendees, who never disappoint to impress with stylish attire on the night. So, without further ado, here are some memorable moments from last year’s event…

Red carpet moments

We had some fabulous fashion moments on the red carpet in 2022. Here are some of our favourites:

Event highlights

Last year marked the return of our highly anticipated IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year Awards, and it was an amazing turnout.

The evening’s highlights included a special musical performance from Irish singer-songwriter Lyra, talented co-hosts Melanie Morris, IMAGE contributing editor, and Bryan Dobson, Irish journalist and broadcaster, gourmet food and drink, luxurious prizes and motivating speeches from each of our winners as they accepted their awards on stage.

The shortlist for the 2023 IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year Awards can be viewed here.

We will announce the winners on the evening of April 14th across 11 categories, alongside the presentation of the overall IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year and this very special Lifetime Achievement Award.
