Maryrose Lyons, Founder of the AI Institute
Maryrose Lyons is the founder of AI Institute, a new platform providing AI courses by bringing together industry experts with deep knowledge of implementing AI in their respective areas. With over 20 years of experience working in marketing, she’s passionate about helping marketers, recruiters, and business owners save time and produce better quality output using AI.
As a renowned GenAI speaker, MC, and panelist, Maryrose has helped over 600 businesses enhance their productivity through AI. Her work at the AI Institute has been instrumental in making AI accessible to professionals across various fields. She is on a mission to help people adapt the way they work and to benefit from being early adopters of using AI.
Annika Bizon, VP of Product & Marketing, Samsung UK and Ireland
Annika Bizon is the VP of Product and Marketing, Samsung UK & Ireland. Building on her role in the successful launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series and growing the Galaxy AI user base, her responsibilities have included leading the series marketing and omnichannel strategy, as well as the MX division in Ireland. Now, she spearheads Galaxy AI adoption, as well as innovation and development, alongside growing Samsung’s ecosystem proposition.
Her passion for putting the customer first has driven both consumer engagement and commercial success, strengthening Samsung UK & Ireland’s market share and brand perceptions across its Galaxy ecosystem.
Annika brings more than 20 years of experience to this new position. Prior to Samsung, she held senior roles at 20th Century Fox and Three UK. Throughout her career, she has focused on successfully transitioning brands to a digital-first approach, driving commercial success.
Cera Ward, Managing Director, Central Europe, Large Customer Sales, Google
A dynamic and results-driven senior executive, Cera Ward currently leads Google’s LCS Central Europe Hub as managing director. With an impactful 13-year tenure within Google’s Large Customer Sales (LCS), Cera has built a formidable reputation for strategic leadership and client success across diverse industries. Her leadership journey at Google includes pivotal roles such as head of sales for LCS Ireland, country manager for Ireland, and specialists lead for Northern Europe, where she consistently delivered significant growth in challenging sectors like travel, financial services, energy, and retail, while expertly managing large teams and cultivating C-suite
partnerships.
Cera possesses deep fluency in performance and brand marketing, enhanced by a forward-looking focus on apps and AI. Fully versed in Google’s AI capabilities, she excels at translating complex AI concepts into strategic business value for senior executives. Before her Google career, Cera honed her commercial acumen as commercial director for a leading Irish radio group, Communicorp, developing expertise in media strategy, broadcasting insights, journalism, and negotiating major sports sponsorships. Cera is a board member for Her Sport, where she promotes greater representation and opportunities for women in sport through partnerships. Her passion for sport and equality stems from her media and marketing studies and her six-year term on the board of the Marketing Institute of Ireland.
Ian Walsh, Co-founder of Orb Media
Ian Walsh is the co-founder of Orb Media, an Irish tech start-up blending the best of gaming engine technology into e-commerce, driving more sales and making shopping more fun. Ian’s vision is fuelling immersive retail experiences and having a significant impact in the travel sector.
Before launching Orb Media, Ian built a successful career in IT distribution, where he held senior management positions. He built high-performing teams, contributing to a successful business exit. Ian brings out the best in his teams, combining his natural empathy with commercial goals that make meaningful workplaces for both clients and employees. Having worked with brands like HP, IBM, Brown Thomas, BNI, international airports and numerous Irish SME brands, Ian’s leadership style combines humility and humour with an irrepressible passion for reshaping the way we connect as humans.
