If advancing your career is a 2024 goal, this event has all you need to know about a Business Masters or MBA

The right programme can be the perfect boost to your career, so head to the UCD Smurfit School Open Evening to find out which one of their Business Masters or MBAs will work best for you.

A new year is the perfect time to reflect on where we’re at in every aspect of our lives, and set some goals for the next 12 months. If this year, your career is something you want to focus on, chances are you’ve already thought about how further study might advance your prospects.

UCD Smurfit School is renowned for its Business Masters and MBA programmes. Their learning experience is designed to be transformative, providing new perspectives from both lecturers and classmates, whilst their alumni network and corporate connections ensure you are set up to succeed. The school has one of the world’s leading business school alumni communities, with over 107,000 professionals in over 32 international chapters. 

Open evening

If you want to find out more about the programmes UCD Smurfit School offers, they are holding an on-campus open evening on February 13, 2024. The Masters session is from 4 – 6.30pm, and the MBA session is from 7 – 8.30pm, followed by a networking reception. 

The event will showcase their full range of Business Masters and MBA programmes, and will give you the opportunity to speak to faculty members, current students and the admissions team, as well as take a tour of the campus.

The MBA session will include an overview of both the 1 year full-time and 2 year part-time programmes. The Full-Time MBA is completed over 12 months on campus in Dublin, while the Executive MBA is completed over 2 years, with usually just two on-campus days per month. 

The session will also feature a taste lecture on the theme of Global & Corporate Strategy delivered by MBA Academic Director Assoc Professor Ciaran Heavey, followed by an MBA student and alumni panel discussion.

IMAGE MBA Scholarship

IMAGE has partnered with UCD Smurfit School for the last 16 years to offer one female candidate a 100% scholarship to join the Full-Time MBA or Executive MBA programme. This year’s successful candidate will commence in August 2024. You can read about our current scholar, Sharon McManus, here.

The scholarship is open to all successful female applicants for the MBA who are resident in Ireland. The closing date for applications is April 30, 2024.
