Team IMAGE recently spent a weekend away at the gorgeous Cliff at Lyons, where we dressed in our winter best before enjoying a scenic stroll on the estate. Here's everything we wore on the day.

There’s nothing I love more than wrapping up for a cosy winter walk. The team and I recently spent the weekend at the beautiful country retreat Cliff at Lyons – a festive haven tucked away in Co Kildare – and it was exactly what the doctor ordered amidst the busiest time of the year.

Eager to kick off our day with a walk along the canal, we dressed in our favourite winter outfits from F&F – the vibe was comfy chic, with big woolly coats and layered silhouettes.

Once an 18th-century village, the estate is decadently decorated for Christmas; rose-clad cottages and courtyards were adorned with glimmering fairy lights and holly garlands – it really was magical.

I absolutely adored my cape jacket, so stylish yet practical. I paired it with a cream jumper and my favourite boots and jeans combo; burgundy cowboy boots that will be well-worn in my wardrobe.

Holly and Lizzie opted for a classic longline coat with a detachable fringed scarf – Holly paired hers with a checked cardigan and sleek maxi skirt, and Lizzie with a cosy white jumper, denim jeans, and a red statement scarf (an ode to the festive season that matched her adorable doggo’s collar).

Dearbhla, who has become our go-to for in-house fashion inspiration, sported a brown double-breasted coat atop a 90s-inspired checked cardigan, blue jeans and black cowboy boots.

It was easy to stay warm with a soft faux Mohair Throw and a thermos of velvety, warm hot chocolate, conveniently carried in F&F’s chic wicker basket.

As we turned back towards the hotel, we chatted about our upcoming dinner party (more on that to come!), looking forward to cosying up by the crackling fire inside – just another reminder why winter is one of our favourite seasons.
