5 Luxe Mascaras Totally Worth The Money

5 Luxe Mascaras Totally Worth The Money

While we love our budget buy mascaras, we also enjoy?treating ourselves to a luxe splurge from time to time. And at the moment, this writer is forking out more for a higher-end mascara. Yes, some are over the €20 mark, but with these, you’re looking at less flaking, zero panda-eyes and more ingenious ingredients (like beeswax), and longer wear. We’ll take all that. So, if you’re up for spending a few extra euros on mascara, here’s our pick of the best five out there at the moment.

Chanel Le Volume de Chanel Mascara, €32.00

Chanel

Chanel’s Le Volume is a winner because of its innovative brush. It mixes long and short bristles to cling to each lash, so every one of them gets lengthed and curled, yet the lashes look really natural.

Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes, €29.00

Charlotte Tilbury’s Full Fat Lashes addresses the five key issues: curl, separation, volume, length and drama. I love the fat brush and in particular, the extra length?this one give my lashes.

Lanc’me Hypn’se Volume Mascara, €28.00

A cult favourite for a reason, this is the best volumising mascara I’ve ever used;?Lanc’me Hypn’se Volume plumps even the tiniest baby lashes for extra voluminous lashes. And you can apply multiple coats without it going flaky, which is a big bonus.

Benefit Roller Lash Super Curling & Lifting Mascara, €26.00

Benefit curling mascara

While many loved Benefit’s ‘They’re Real’ offering, I was underwhelmed; my lashes looked clumpy and not gloriously fake-yet-real as I was promised. However, they redeemed themselves with their super Curling & Lifting Mascara. In terms of a mascara that promises curl, you won’t get much better than this. It literally can curl lashes in one coat. The formula constricts lashes to pull them out and up, and the nifty brush is designed to grab each individual lash.

MAC Haute & Naughty Lash, €25.00

Mac mascara

A super handy two-in-one mascara that lets you choose if you want lashes to be naturally defined, or instantly combed, curled and’dramatic. This one is perfect for holidays or if you’re always on the go.
