Now in it’s 8th year, the IMAGE Businesswoman of the Year Awards has earned itself a stellar reputation among the movers and shakers of the business world as it seeks to bring the excellent work of Irish women to the fore.

This year, however, we’re taking this coveted event to a whole new level as we introduce *drumroll please* the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating one woman in particular whose work could inspire an entire generation to strive to fulfill their maximum potential, a potential that lies within every one of us, waiting to be unlocked.

Commenting on the exciting new addition, Editor in Chief Melanie Morris says:

?Now in its eighth year honouring outstanding Irish businesswomen, the IMAGE Businesswoman of the Year Awards has established a level of respect and prestige that we can continue in our reach of recognising others. For this reason, we decided to launch a Lifetime Achievement Award, separate to the voted categories whereby the nominee was chosen by the IMAGE editorial team.

In deciding who would be our inaugural recipient, we had no shortlist. One name stood out above all others.”
