Our Must-Sees At Body & Soul

Festival fever? Have no fear, Jo’s going to guide us through it

Ever experienced the Festival Fear? Everyone has that ?friend? who has spent hours, nay days, perfecting their festival itinerary akin to a military regime, and ultimately a long list of bands you’ve never heard of. Forget them. While they’re running from tent to pit, you’ll be chilling because we’ve put together the Body & Souls? hitlist, guaranteed to give you muso credentials, no sweat.

We love these guys – Booka Brass Band boys are a brass ensembles covering everything from Pharrell to Jason Derulo. The lads are still students but they’ve already collaborated Jerry Fish and Lisa Hannigan and are this year’s Vodafone?Centre Stage ambassadors. Catch them at Vodafone #centrestage

Caribou are killing it. This is the band to grab a beer for and chill out under the sun. We love the new track Can’t Do Without You but check out Sun too.

Young Wonder are a little homegrown talent from Cork (and have featured in IMAGE on more than one occasion). Indie, ethereal tunage, plus lead singer Rachel Pixie is guaranteed to be the coolest chick at the festival.

Ladies and gentleman, the legend that is John Grant. Tell everyone you can’t wait to hear Pale Green Ghost.

The band everyone is waiting to see – Goldfrapp are about to pull out the classics and new tracks too. Do NOT miss this queuing for the loos or kebab.

Over to you – you guys said not to miss these gems:

The Field – Everyday

Jon Hopkins We Disappear

Mount Kimbie – Carbonated
