We’re hiring: Would you like to join IMAGE media?

We're looking to fill two new roles at IMAGE – Account Executive and Account Manager.

At IMAGE, we are all about big ideas and content with purpose. We apply magazine-thinking to our branded content studio, creating and executing partnerships and collaborations with style and substance.

And not only do we create, curate and craft standard-setting content, but we have the established and engaged media channels to publish, broadcast and target that content to a combined audience of one million people a month.

As our company grows, we are looking to fill two new roles – account executive and account manager.

Account Executive

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Account Executive will play a key role in the monetization and growth of IMAGE Media across all our advertising platforms.

Is this you? 

You’re passionate about sales and advertising, you have a strong ideation and commercial mindset and, above all, bring business brilliance, energy and enthusiasm to the revenue department. You have proven sales experience in the Irish market. You have experience dealing with agency/direct contacts and creating strong relationships. You are driven to carve a name for yourself and IMAGE within the Irish advertising industry.

You’re professional, creative and enjoy the buzz of being part of a fast-paced team environment. You’re able to work on your own initiative but at the heart of it you’re a team player. You have no problem picking up the phone to clients. You won’t let any target go without it being achieved and are driven by the joy of closing that sale.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring that personal revenue targets are met and exceeded 
  • Taking full responsibility and ownership of each sale you make and client you are looking after from initial sale to delivery of campaign
  • Selling to an existing client base and building a portfolio of new clients
  • Managing relationships with existing clients to ensure they are regularly kept abreast of what is happening with IMAGE and always receive gold standard service
  • Proactively pitching briefs/deals in advance to clients to ensure healthy future pipeline at all times
  • Creating an environment of creativity and excellence in all you do
  • Building a strong working relationship with the internal team
  • Maintaining a high level of knowledge of the industry and our competitors across the board, keeping up to speed on emerging trends or changes to the advertising landscape
  • Adopting a strong communication strategy throughout the department and organisation

 

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years media sales experience 
  • Experience working with agencies and direct clients
  • A proven track record in achieving targets on time
  • Have an understanding and experience of working with media planners and buyers at all levels
  • Ability to work on own initiative while also being a strong team player
  • Strong interpersonal, time management and organisational skills 
  • Ability to manage excellent client and colleague relationships
  • Motivated and enthusiastic individual
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong administrations skills
  • A pro-active approach to creative projects
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a cool outlook
  • A personable and professional character that will allow you to build client rapport
  • The confidence to give clients trust in your work

Account Manager

We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an Account Manager for our flagship title, IMAGE Magazine. You will be a part of an award-winning commercial team and have responsibility for looking after IMAGE Magazine.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Owning the advertising target on IMAGE magazine to ensure it is achieved in full and on time for every issue
  • Selling to an existing client base and building a portfolio of new clients
  • Managing relationships with existing clients to ensure they are regularly kept abreast of what is happening with IMAGE and always receive gold standard service
  • Managing the advertising process on IMAGE from an internal administrative perspective to ensure that all ad slots are booked on time while maintaining the high luxury standard of the magazine from a creative perspective
  • Arranging calls and liaising with clients to understand their requirements
  • Proactively up selling to client base 
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction, building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Working with the editorial team on features lists and activity within the magazine and communicating this to clients and advertisers
  • Using market information, including competitor analysis, as a sales tool 
  • Keeping clients informed of relevant marketing campaigns throughout the year (i.e. special cover price offers, subs offers, ad campaigns, brand extensions, cross promotion, etc.)
  • Creating regular e-zines and mail shots to send to all clients and advertisers 
  • Reporting to the CRO

 

Skills & Experience Required

  • 1 to 2 years media sales experience 
  • A proven track record in achieving targets on time
  • Have an understanding and experience of working with media planners and buyers at all levels
  • Ability to work on own initiative while also being a strong team player
  • Strong interpersonal, time management and organisational skills 
  • Ability to manage excellent client and colleague relationships
  • Motivated and enthusiastic individual
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong administration skills
  • A pro-active approach to creative projects
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a cool outlook
  • A personable and professional character that will allow you to build client rapport
  • The confidence to give clients trust in your work
  • Digital Advertising experience is a plus
