The power of a good boot should never be underestimated. The team share their tried and true favourites, and the pairs they’ve got on their winter wishlists.

I am absolutely obsessed with these Sajan Brown Leather Boots from ALOHAS. They have been sitting in my cart for weeks. I’ve been waiting for the air to get cool enough so that I can justify them as a practical winter purchase – and judging by my weather app, I think it’s finally time.

I believe if something isn’t broken, don’t fix it, and that especially goes for shoes. Being on the go a lot means I need shoes (and boots) that I know won’t let me down. A few years ago, I invested in a pair of Doc Martens Sinclair Boots, and they have seen me through many concerts, many festivals, lots of nights out, and even a trip to the Irish Open!
In my opinion, a heeled boot is effortlessly chic, and goes with just about anything. I recently spotted this brown pair from River Island, and have instantly added them to my winter wishlist. I can already imagine the outfits these will elevate!

My own mother would be the first to tell me how lacking my boots collection is (as hers could fill an entire room), but this is no longer the case! I finally invested in this gorgeous new pair of Suede Knee High Boots from NA-KD Fashion, just in time for Autumn. They’re a beautiful brown suede fabric which I think is going to go perfectly with any outfits, from mini skirts to cosy coats. They’re arriving this week so pray for me that they’re as comfy as they are stylish.

I have my eye on these fun Doc Martens Chelsea Boots. I spotted them in a TikTok a few weeks ago and I have been dreaming of them ever since. For me, a good pair of versatile boots is an autumn/winter wardrobe staple. They are the perfect pair of boots to wear with everything from jeans to dresses and everything in between!

I am on the hunt for a good pair of black knee high boots. Any petite 5ft girl knows the struggle of finding a pair of boots that doesn’t make you look shorter and stumpier than you are, so this has been a struggle. I’m currently eyeing up these Topshop boots. I had previously bought a bright pink pair from Topshop three years ago, which fit beautifully and look great, but may not have been the most practical, work-friendly colour!

After months of ‘will she, won’t she’, I finally purchased a pair of cowboy boots. I have pre ordered a pair of Liberty black leather boots from ALOHAS. It’s so fun following their journey from the manufacturing stage, to their arrival on my doorstep – the satisfaction of slow fashion!

This time last year, I invested in a pair of Blanca Knee-High Boots from Vagabond, and I don’t think I’ve ever loved a pair of shoes more. I’m eyeing up the ankle boot version in dark brown leather.
I adore Miista for the sheer volume of different boot styles they’ve got on their website. I’ve narrowed down my favourites to the Oliana Boots in a gorgeous burgundy shade, and the iconic Malene Boots in the black/brown brush-off leather. I don’t think there’s a single outfit they wouldn’t go with.
Finally, Russell & Bromley have distilled all the best elements of a perfect Chelsea boot into their City Low Chelsea Boot style. The chunky cleated sole, the block heel for maximum comfort, the almond toe shape — this is a pair that I don’t see myself ever getting sick of.

I have several pairs of boots already, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been eyeing up a new pair! All my current pairs are ankle height, so I’m tempted by a longer pair – I love this one from Whistles.

I love a classic boot and these animal print desert boots from the Clarks and Sandro Paris are on my shopping list this autumn. If money was no object I would happily stomp around in these Givenchy’s a la Claudia Winkleman via Sinead McKeefry this winter.
I’ve had my Doc Martens soft leather boots for years. Always great with trousers, denims and dresses alike day-to-day. Ditto these Grenson Chelsea boots; beautiful craftsmanship that will see you through seasons and go with everything in your wardrobe. Wait until the sales and invest!

I discovered a fabulous shoe store called Manee in Milan in the Brera district at Design Week last year and picked up the most fabulous boots and shoes. The owner is actually from Ireland and can switch from sounding Irish to sounding just like a local Italian. He designs and makes the shoes in his store. It is a feast for any shoe lover. He has the most gorgeous boots and they are the most comfortable I have ever worn, soft cosy leather.
