Sensual gift sets: Sex Siopa and design brand Prickle team up for Christmas self-love

Looking for a sexy alternative to the Christmas gift set? This Irish partnership is sure to grab your attention

Self-love and self-care come in many different forms, and this year especially, it’s important to explore what makes you feel good. Sex toys may have been seen as taboo in the past, but let’s face it, they’ll definitely be the most memorable and fun gift you buy this year, whether that’s for yourself or for a friend who needs some alone time.

Whether you’ve got a friend who’s super difficult to buy for, or you’re in need of some self-love yourself this Christmas, a new partnership between two Irish businesses is sure to get your pulse racing.

Sex Siopa and Irish fashion and design brand Prickle have come together to launch a new Christmas gift set that ticks all the boxes for an alternative self-care kit. Prickle, internationally known for its bold and colourful sex-positive prints, has created beautiful silk scarf in vibrant colours for the winter season, inspired by one of Sex Siopa’s products.

The unique sex toy, a dual motor vibrator, is one of Sex Siopa owner Shawna Scott’s favourite products, and now, the two are available together as a gift set on SexSiopa.ie for Christmas.

Speaking about the new collaboration, Ciara Rapple, owner of Prickle, said: “This has been such a fun project to work on. Shawna has such a love for the designs of all the sex toys she sells, so it was great to capture the essence of that in the pattern and give people the opportunity to take something private and make it public in a fun stealthy way. I love that people will get a better idea of how the scarves are designed and not only own the scarf but its inspiration too.”

Shawna Scott, owner of Sex Siopa, added: “I’m thrilled that I finally get to work with one of my favourite Irish designers. Prickle and Sex Siopa work in different fields but have had the same mission over the past number of years in that we’ve both been trying to start conversations in Ireland around sex and pleasure using our chosen mediums of art, fashion, social media, and design.

2020 has been pretty bleak, but this Christmas I hope that folks will treat someone they love to something beautiful and pleasurable. Or maybe even give the scarf as a gift and keep the vibrator for themselves or vice versa!”

The gift set is available to pre-order from SexSiopa.ie now, with shipping projected on December 1.
