Perfect date: The light jackets in our shopping basket this week

Perfect date: The light jackets in our shopping basket this week

Today may just be April 25th to you, but to Miss Congeniality fans, it will always be known as the perfect date.

A date that’s not too hot, not too cold and when all you need is a light jacket, April 25th has come to be as famous as October 3rd in the film world. If you know, you know… and if you don’t know, you can educate yourself here.

Miss Rhode Island, a.k.a. Cheryl Frasier, was really onto something when she described her idea of a perfect date. Granted, she may have taken Stan Field’s question a little too literally, but she wasn’t wrong with her answer either.

April 25th is a pretty great date in fairness, and while the ever-changeable Irish weather rarely cooperates, the rain has managed to hold off just long enough for us to consider investing in our own light jacket to celebrate.

In the wise words of Heather Burns, “wishing everyone love, light and a PERFECT DATE!”
