Inside Britney Spears and Sam Asghari’s fairytale LA wedding

If anyone deserves a dream big day, it’s Britney Spears.

On Thursday, Britney Spears and her long-time partner Sam Asghari tied the knot with an intimate celebration of love at her Los Angeles home, surrounded by no more than 60 guests.

The pair began their courtship back in 2016, after meeting on the set of her ‘Slumber Party’ music video. Announcing their engagement this past September, Asghari remained a constant source of support for Spears throughout her conservatorship battle.

Now that photos are beginning to emerge (including multiverse madness-esque shots of our new favourite girl gang), the wedding looked like something straight out of a fairytale, right down to the horse drawn carriage and floral arches.

The ceremony

According to inside sources, Britney walked down the aisle to Elvis Presley’s ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ wearing a custom off-the-should Versace gown, surrounded by a select group of guests that included Madonna, Paris Hilton and Drew Barrymore.

The songstress’ LA home was draped in roses for their special day, and the ten-minute ceremony took place under a tent draped in velvet blush. It has been reported that Spears’ parents, sister Jamie-Lynn, and sons Sean Preston and Jayden James were not in attendance.

The after party

Though Britney Spears’ ex husband tried his damndest to rain on the parade, there’s nothing but sheer happiness in each and every one of the photos from the occasion.

In an Instagram post recounting the details of “the most spectacular day”, Spears thanked the many “incredible people” in attendance on the night. From her girl crush Drew Barrymore to long-time partner in crime Paris Hilton (who apparently turned down DJing for Joe Biden for the occasion), the dance floor was filled with all our favourite it girls.

It was reported that the newly betrothed couple departed just after 10pm in a Rolls Royce, waved off by well-wishing guests waving sparklers in the air.

Oh to be a fly on the wall of Britney Spears’ Thousand Oaks home.
