How to layer like a pro in weather that can’t make it’s mind up

How to layer like a pro in weather that can’t make it’s mind up

No idea what to wear? What you need is transitional denim.

The last few weeks have been a somewhat harsh reminder of what an ‘Irish Summer’ truly is; bursts of warm sunshine haunted by whispers of cold, wind and rain. It’s this time of year that we as a nation are forced to contemplate what lies ahead of us; autumn, followed swiftly by the dreaded winter. Unfortunately due to the hot and cold diva we know as Met Eireann, it also happens to be an awkward period in terms of knowing what to wear and how to dress weather appropriately.

Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you – layering – a fabulous concept in which we may appear totally put together in any situation that Mother Nature may throw at us (even if that is not truly the case). How do we do this? You may ask. Well the answer to dressing for five minute long Cote D’Azur sunny spells, two-hour-long tropical storms and, I would argue, to global warming in general (though this may be disputed by experts in the field) is transitional, layer-able denims.

Easy, comfortable, versatile and acclimating – shop our picks below.
