9 of the best summer sandals on the online high street right now

by Edaein OConnell
09th May 2020

Summer sandals will forever be a wardrobe staple and are always the most worn item in our wardrobes. Here are 9 we love right now

Coronavirus has put a halt to our fashion dreams for the summer.

There may not be a need for French Riviera worthy dresses or sun hats that are akin to crowns but that doesn’t mean all hope is lost. We still need the basics.

Summer sandals are a staple in every wardrobe. In June, July, and August, they quickly become the most worn item we own.

This season there is a wondrous mix of styles available to suit all styles. Flat sandals are the shoe du jour and are equally chic as they are comfortable. Zara’s padded baby blue versions will look divine under jeans or white maxi skirts. If you are looking for something a little different, the pink and purple models by Arizona Love provide 1990s nostalgia with intertwined bandanas in place of straps.

For the mule lovers of the sartorial world, Uterque’s black and pearl pair will give a subtle hint of glam to any summer outfit, while Mango’s heeled beauties can supply the world with the pop of colour it needs.
