The Arnotts SS20 season launch took place today in Arnotts Department Store, with a breakfast and fashion show showcasing the new collections.

The show was styled by stylist and creative director Aisling Farinella who showcased 90 looks in total of both Irish and international designers. Prints, saturated hues and Scandi style were just some of the trends on show. Each perfect for the Irish woman’s wardrobe.

Sustainability was at the core of the show with brands such as Humility, Samsoe & Samsoe and Selected Femme showing once again that climate-conscious fashion is far from boring. Irish designers such as Aideen Bodkin and Fee G fused intricate detailing with blooming floral prints in a spectrum of soft delicate tones. IMAGE favourite Ghost London was on hand to celebrate femininity in all of its glory with floral motifs dotted on summer dresses.

While MICHAEL Michael Kors, InWear and Selected Femme celebrated maximalism and more.

Mary Claffey, Arnotts Womenswear Buyer, said of the new collections, “We are very excited to introduce new brands this season that are chic, modern and emblematic of a new era. This summer is all about introducing bold colours and updated silhouettes to your wardrobe while still maintaining a timeless sensibility. We are making conscious decisions with our buys and we are delighted to have brands leading the force of change like Samsoe & Samsoe”.
