Simone Rocha, a Woman of the Year

Simone Rocha, a Woman of the Year

Another day, another reason that we’re proud to be Irish, especially with exports as promising as designer Simone Rocha who, just this week, scooped the coveted award for ‘Young Designer of the Year’ at Harper’s Bazaar’s star studded ceremony, capping off quite the career defining year.

Rocha’s star power and sartorial credentials are undoubtedly on the rise and we look forward to what she comes across with next.
Elsewhere, Margot Robbie was hailed as the ‘Breakthrough’ woman of the year (however, most news reports this morning focus on her nipple-related wardrobe malfunction) while Carey Mulligan went home with the gong for ‘Inspiration’ which is a bit odd considering she hasn’t done much to inspire of late. (Meow).
